Campaign Period

Minimum Loan Tenure

Grace Period

  • Optional grace period of up to 12 months.

Management Fees

  • 0.5% of the loan amount (no cap), payable upfront from loan proceeds.

Early Settlement

  • 3% on outstanding balance if settled within the first 5 year.

Partial Settlement

  • Up to 10% per year.
  • Subject to 1% charge on the partial settlement amount.
  • If partial settlement exceeding 10% per year then 3% charge will apply.

Avios Reward

  • MOJ mortgage fee: up to QR 1,500.

Eligible Loan Types

The campaign applies to:

  • New to Bank Housing Loans.
  • Buyout / Transfer from other banks.
  • Equity Release.
  • Personal Loan to Housing Loan conversions (net amount).

Source of repayment could be salary or rental income.

Note: Top up loans for existing Doha Bank Housing Loan customers are excluded from this campaign.

Eligibility

  • The offer is available to existing and new Qatari customers and residents who transfer their salaries to Doha Bank.

Required Documents

  • Original QID for Qataris.
  • Salary certificate not exceeding 30 days.
  • Stamped account statement for the last six months.
  • Quotation from the property seller or developer.
  • Copy of the property title deed.
  • Balance Confirmation Certificate from the existing bank to the customers who wish to transfer their liabilities to Doha Bank.

Key Terms & Conditions

  • The offer is only applicable for buying a new house, transferring the existing housing loans to Doha Bank, or obtaining financing against a mortgaged property owned by the customer, provided that such property is not the customer’s residence.
  • The minimum loan tenor to avail the offer is 10 years.
  • The minimum period before full repayment with no additional fees is 5 years.
  • If the loan is settled before the completion of 5 years, the customer must pay 3% as early repayment fee (instead of the standard fees of 1%).
  • Minimum Housing Loan Amount is QR 500,000.
  • The customer must hold for a Doha Bank Credit Card to avail Avios or cashback.

Interest Calculation (APR):

  • Commencing from the Loan Date, interest shall accrue on the Loan on a daily basis at the relevant Interest Rate and will be capitalized to the Loan Amount at the end of each month.
  • Interest will be calculated as per following formulae. The Daily Balance of the Loan X Total Annual Rate X (1/360)
  • Every payment made after the due date will result in additional interest accrual on loan
  • Where a Grace Period applies or where the Customer is granted a postponement in respect of an installment, interest on the relevant Loan shall continue to accrue and will be capitalized to the Loan Amount at the end of each relevant month.
