He expressed his happiness with this partnership, which comes within the policy of cooperation and integration between all sectors in the country, in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar.
Al-Hanzab said: “Al Arabi Sports Club is a renowned club with great achievements. It has a large base of fans and is one of the main pillars of Qatari football. I hope to see its great achievements soon to be again at the top of the Qatari clubs.
The spokesman of the club said that this step is heading in the right direction towards the advancement of Al Arabi Sports Club, and the diversification of its sources of income. The club has already received many offers of sponsorship in the past, but were not up to the desired level. However, the offer we received from Doha Bank, was widely accepted by the club’s Board of Directors.
He added: “There is no doubt that the sponsorship benefits both parties, and we are trying to search for many sources of income from different directions to revive the club’s treasury. We expect to reap the fruits of sponsoring the club in a short period. The management is continuing its policy of promoting the club and repaying the rest of its debt, a large part of which has been already repaid.”
