As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, Doha Bank is supporting the Qatar Paralympic Committee’s (QPC) efforts to promote sporting activities for those with special needs.

Mr. Khalid Al Naama, Head of the Public Sector at Doha Bank, presented the Qatar Paralympic Committee with a donation cheque to confirm its support. Mr. Al Naama said: “Sport is a major pillar of Doha Bank’s corporate social responsibility programme and we are proud to support the Qatar Paralympic Committee as it seeks new opportunities to fulfil the sporting ambitions of people with special needs in Qatar.”

Mrs. Sara Al Dossari, Public Relations Manager at the Qatar Paralympic Committee said: “We are happy to welcome corporate citizens such as Doha Bank that are eager to support the efforts of our athletes and contribute in opening more doors for Paralympic sports at the local, regional and international levels.”

Paralympic sports are gaining more and popularity and inviting more support around the world and Qatar has been a frontrunner in the region for sports that focus on people with special needs.
