In sequence to the Breast Cancer Awareness Month in 2018, Doha Bank, in collaboration with Qatar Cancer Society (QCS), held an awareness session for all its female employees on Cervical Cancer during the month of January. The knowledge sharing session, covered topics on symptoms, early detection, prevention methods, Risk factors and treatment of cervical cancer. The Bank emphasized their support towards Teal Month by distributing Teal ribbons to all the female employees and urging them to wear it to support the cause.

“We are honored to be part of the cervical cancer awareness month, and be able to organize such an event with the Qatar Cancer Society, to educate and enlighten our employees” said Shaikha Noor Mubarak Al Thani, Deputy Head of the HR Department. Further commenting, she also said “We will further support other types of cancer awareness and prevention initiatives throughout the year”
