Recognizing Pink Month as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Doha Bank, in collaboration with Qatar Cancer Society (QCS), held a seminar for all its employees on Breast Cancer. The knowledge sharing session, covered topics on symptoms, early detection, prevention methods and treatment of breast cancer. The Bank emphasized their support towards Pink Month by distributing pink ribbons to all their employees and urging them to wear it to support the cause.

“We are honored to be part of the Pink Month, and be able to organize such an event with the Qatar Cancer Society, to educate and enlighten our employees” said Shaikha Noor Mubarak Al Thani, Deputy Head of the HR Department. Further commenting, she also said “Breast Cancer is one of the leading health issues for women, and most of the time they are either unaware or ignorant of it. We will extend all our efforts to educate the women in our society about breast cancer and its prevention, and also support all other types of cancer awareness and prevention initiatives throughout the year”
