Terms and Conditions

  • The Green Home Loan is applicable to Freehold, Leasehold, and Ready-made properties and should have a minimum loan tenor of 10 years.
  • Evaluation fee will be refunded up to maximum of QR 2500/- after the loan is disbursed and for one property only. Any excess costs greater than QR 2500 will be paid from own sources.
  • The property will be assessed based on a scoring system and should achieve at least 30 out of 40 points to avail the Green Mortgage loan.
  • If loan is early settled before completing 10-year tenor, customer shall pay back:
    • QCB + 1% for the 0% interest period. That will be in addition to normal early settlement fee of 1% on the loan outstanding.
    • Refunded Property Evaluation fee.
    • Waived Mortgage fee.
    • Waived Management fee.

  • Last 12 months Original Business Bank Statements.

Interest Calculation (APR):

  • Commencing from the Loan Date, interest shall accrue on the Loan on a daily basis at the relevant Interest Rate and will be capitalized to the Loan Amount at the end of each month.
  • Interest will be calculated as per following formulae. The Daily Balance of the Loan X Total Annual Rate X (1/360)
  • Every payment made after the due date will result in additional interest accrual on loan
  • Where a Grace Period applies or where the Customer is granted a postponement in respect of an installment, interest on the relevant Loan shall continue to accrue and will be capitalized to the Loan Amount at the end of each relevant month.
